6.195 - Fixed an issue that would not allow one to create a payment using the payment button.

6.165 - Updated the validation for Property ID; If the client is for County Tax then the tax type, property id and additional id must be unique; If the client is not for County Tax then the property id alone must be unique.  

6.147 - Updated the 'Is warning' check box to be available in the 'Property Notes' and 'Bill Notes' tab. 

6.113 - Added ability to print a special letter from the property screen.  Grantee fields and proportionate share percent has been added for intangible tax type bills.

Introduction

This screen is used to search on property or bill information and allows you to view property information and drill down to see individual bill information

Explanation

Property ID - Property id for the piece of property. This field is required. If the client is for County Tax then the tax type, property id and additional id must be unique; If the client is not for County Tax then the property id alone must be unique.

Tax type - Tax type for the piece of property. This in conjunction with the parcel id must be unique.

External link button - It is possible a button can appear that will take the user to an external website that will display the current property information. Available options and setup are setup in the Tax Collection System Settings.

Print options - Determines print option of the bill. Normal is the default and will mark the bills ready for printing. 'Print and Hold' option provides the ability to mark the bills for later printing. Some clients utilize the 'Print and Hold' 'Print option' for Utility, Under Appeal, and Not on Digest bill types. The Tax Notices report uses this option as a possible filtering option.

Bill Transaction report button - There is a button you can click on once a bill is selected to pop up the new Bill Transaction Report

Bill Information report button - When clicked this will print a report that contains all of the information of the bill

Tax Notice report button - When clicked this will bring up the Tax Notices screen used when printing from the report menu with the tax year, due date, bill date, starting and ending bill number fields filled in.

Special Letters- When clicked this will bring up the Special Letters screen used when printing from the report menu with the Tax map number checked in the list for the associated property.

Property Notes

Property notes is a section where a user can enter a note that pertains to the property. The user is allowed to choose a note title, enter in a short note and an additional note as well as the date and who it was entered by. Is system is display only and checked if the note was generated by a system process. If 'Is warning' is checked and the system billing setting 'Require user to view customer warnings' is set then it a warnings popup will show if there are notes set as warnings for the Property.

Bill Notes

Is display for all bill notes associated with the property for all tax years.

Changes Prior to Version 6.100

6.95 - Reverted back some previous changes where the account number could not be changed.   Account number can now be changed at any time.  The name is not the mailing name from associated account selected.  

6.94 - Do not allow the original mailing information to be updated when a bill date exists.

6.78 - Fixed an issue that caused the most current tax year not be selected in the grid when navigating the form.

6.76 - Added a total to the Total Balance Column 

6.58 - Fixed issue where a null exception occurred when taking a payment when searching by a specific tax year and checking the only display selected yearly detail 

6.55 - Added ability to print the transaction report in summary. Verbiage in footer has been changed when pending penalty and interest is enabled.   Added ability to choose the date on the transaction report for which pending penalty and interest is calculated. On the bill information report corrected a few fields that were not displaying correctly.

6.53 - Added ability to print bill information (including assigned levies, exemption, assessment detail, and fixes services).

6.49 - Verbiage on Bill Transaction report when on demand penalty and interest is enabled has been updated to clarify content.

6.44 - All tax types are now allowed to have a bill marked as Not on Digest

6.40 - Added ability to search by mobile home manufacturer id, model number, lot and park.

6.37 - Changes have been made in anticipation of on demand penalty and interest.  When  enabled the total tax will include the pending penalty and interest.

6.35 - Validation for a duplicate property has been changed to include the additional id value.

- Location, district, and sub division have been moved from the property to the bill.
- Receipt number has been renamed to bill number as this is a more accurate.
- Fixed issue where the mortgage information was not displaying

6.26 - Fixed Services tab has been removed as Fixed Services are now located on the bill and the default values when a need bill is added are brought from the tax year.
