Recent Changes:
6.196 - Updated the Standard Renewal and A10 Renewal application to pull all the fees from the business master if there is no previous license and both 'Print additional fees on application' and 'Include all active businesses without a current license' are selected.  

6.184 - Updated the data pull to pull applications for new businesses without a license history and also ordered the data to fix rate limits being displayed incorrectly on some businesses.

6.182 - Updated the data pull for renewal applications to prevent rate tables from printing twice for customers that have multiple licenses with different NAICS codes.  

6.177 - Print NAICS/Class Code from the Business Master if PrintApplicationsFromBusinessMaster set as True in the ConfigurationItem table otherwise print from the License History if they have an active license.

6.119 - Added the ability to include the Intelligent Mail Barcode in custom Business License Applications.   

6.66 - Added a date selector that will contain the month that the user selects. This month will look at the original license date and pull license that expired in the date range and have an original license date month equal to the user selection.

Introduction

This menu option allows the user to print either blank or renewal applications.

Report Selections

Application Type - Blank, Renewal Application (default)
Select report sequence - Alpha Sort, Customer Name, NAICS/Class Code, Rate Code (default)
Application Date - This date, which is normally the print date, will be printed in the upper left corner of the application
Penalty Date - Set in the BL System File
License year for header
Include businesses w/ license expiration date between
Print applications only for licenses added since - Only licenses with an Original License Date since the date entered here will be printed
Codes to print on applications - enabled for blank applications

Rate

Print rate information on application - The rates and rate verbiage will be automatically generated from the rate information stored in the Rate Tables parameter file
Print additional fees on application - This will print any additional fees on the application. The system will pull it from the business master first (the fees tab), then it will pull any from the license type (if they don't already exist).
If you have lengthy rate tables and you choose to print everything on the application, a part of the data may print on the second page.
Include all active businesses without a current license
Reprint application

If the flag in the rate table file “Flat Rate Items Also Required” is true, an additional line will be printed in the “CALCULATION OF LICENSE FEE” section that will allow entry of the number of units (amusement machines for example), the rate per unit and the license fee amount.

A certification note is normally printed just above the applicant’s signature. This note is stored in the Business License System File as the first note under “Additional Notes to Print on the Application”. If dates are used in this note, they will need to be edited on an annual basis.

After the signature, a section can be printed that shows ordinance information and instructions that are unique to each business class. The information that you want to print in this section should be entered as a note field in the NAICS/CLASS code parameter file. The length of the note is unlimited but should be kept brief if you want to print all application information on a single page.

The last item that can be printed on the application is a note field that is stored in the Business License System File as the second note under “Additional Notes to Print on the Application”.

If a business is issued more than one license, when the applications are printed for the upcoming year the system will now print an application for each license from the prior year.
