Introduction
Delinquent Cost Report computes (and posts) a cost for delinquent tax bills based on the balance remaining of transactions subject to penalty.
Explanation
Selection Criteria
Delinquent date - This is the date which determines if a bill is delinquent. Any type of transaction after this date including payments will not be taken into consideration.
Select report sequence - How the data will be sorted in the report
Minimum amount to be checked - This is the minimum amount due based on the delinquent date for bills that will be included.
Tax limit - This is the value that determines what amount is going to be charged
Cost if under tax limit - Amount used if taxes subject to cost is under or equal to the tax limit
Cost if over tax limit - Amount used if taxes subject to cost is over the tax limit
Exempt partial payment agreement - If checked this takes into account the partial payment agreement terms. If the paid in full date is after the delinquent date it will be included.
Update late charges - If checked the a cost transaction will be created on the transaction date provided for the transaction code selected
Tax types - There is a multi select combo where you can specify the tax types you would like to report on
Tax years - There is a multi select combo where you can specify the tax years you would like to report on
Tax bills - There is a multi select combo where you can specify the tax bills you would like to report on
Total Value calculation
If the tax flag on the transaction type is not B for mobile home total assessment is equal to building assessment + lot assessment. If the tax flag is B(mobile home) if FMV Adjustement > 0 then the value is the FMV Adjustment else it is the building assessment + lot assessment + FMV additons.
On Demand Penalty and Interest
When on demand penalty and interest is enabled the amounts of both are calculated and will be considered for the subject to cost balance based on the subject to penalty flag for the transaction code.
