Tax Ad Valorem Accounts are used during the entry of Tax Ad Valorem entries. When setting up you will specify for each tax year which commission rate will be used

Account Number
The account number for this entry
Description
Description of this account
Account Type
The valid account types are Authority and Bank Account. A bank account is used for receiving money. An authority is used when distributing monies to the appropriate entities/taxing authorities. A transitory account is a holding\clearing account when needed to hold money until it is ready to be distributed to authority accounts.
Bank Account
This field is required when the account type is Bank Account and disabled for all other types. This is a fund ledger account and is used when a bank account is used during the tax ad valorem process.If the account type is changed during entry and a value was previously selected a warning will be displayed mentioning that its value will be removed if the user continues with the save process.
Authority Account
This field is required and used during the tax ad valorem process. This area will be disabled when Account Type is Bank Account. If the account type is changed during entry and previous rows existed a warning will be displayed mentioning that its value will be removed if the user continues with the save process.
Commission Rate and Tax Year selection combination
These selection is the commission rate/tax year used for this account when generating the commissions and fund ledger entries. The combination of the commission rate and the tax year must be unique. The vendors associated with the commission rate are displayed for information purposes only.
