TeamKeeper Integration

This document outlines the process for importing and exporting time and attendance data using the TeamKeeper integration.

Import

The import function allows you to bring time and attendance data from TeamKeeper into the system.

Fields

  • Timesheet date range: This specifies the period for which you want to import timesheets.
    • This field is required.
    • It defaults to the current fiscal year.
  • Mark timesheets as processed in TeamKeeper: When checked, this option will mark the imported timesheets as processed within the TeamKeeper system.
  • Mark corrections as processed in TeamKeeper: If selected, any imported corrections will be marked as processed in TeamKeeper.
  • Temp import path: This is the directory where the temporary import file will be created.
    • This field is required and must be a valid file path.
    • The default path is set in the configuration file.

Process

  1. Verify the Timesheet date range is correct.
  2. Select the appropriate "Mark as processed" options.
  3. Confirm the Temp import path is a valid directory.
  4. Click the Import from TeamKeeper button.

The system will receive the data from the TeamKeeper APIs, create a temporary file in the Standard Time and Attendance import format at the specified path, and then process that file.

Export

The export function sends time and attendance data from this system to TeamKeeper.

Fields

  • Last exported: This displays the date and time of the most recent successful export.
  • Temp export path: This is the directory where the temporary export file will be generated before being sent.
    • This field is required and must be a valid file path.
    • The default path is set in the configuration file.

Process

  1. Verify the Temp export path is a valid directory.
  2. Click the Export to TeamKeeper button.

The system will generate a temporary file containing the time and attendance data in the Standard Time and Attendance export format and then transmit that file to TeamKeeper through their APIs.
