Introduction

This process imports files from both the UTS (United Technology Solutions) and GigaTrak barcode systems. An exception report is also generated.

Selection Criteria

Import Type

• Assets - Default UTS Format (UTS Asset Import File Format)
• Assets - GigaTrak (reference GigaTrak Asset Export File Format)
• Employees - GigaTrak (reference GigaTrak Employee Export File Format)

Select process - Print Only (default), Print and Update, Update Only
Enter filename

Select the fields to be compared/updated for changed assets

• Department
• Location
• Building
• Room
• Condition Code
• Model Number
• Note 1
• Note 2
• Manufacturer
• Serial Number
• All Other Fields

Always create assets/employees if they do not exist - always selected
Note 1 to include on import - required for import of assets
Note 2 to include on import - required for import of assets
Checked by - required for import of assets
