Introduction

This option allows the user to set/increase or reset the salaries of employees by a certain percentage or flat rate for hourly. This option would work successfully only if the " Allow override standard amounts on salary accounts tab when annual wages updated" is checked in the Payroll System File on Page 3. If not checked the set/reset salaries would not work on all employees.

Explanation

Input Criteria -
  • PayType - Salary, Hourly, or Both (which covers all pay types in general)
  • Factor to be used - Percentage by which the salaries are to be set/reset ( A factor of 5% would be entered as 1.05)
  • Percentage or Flat - The rate of change to change pay by. Flat is only available when updating just the hourly employees.
  • Employee Status - The user can choose to run for a particular employee status ( Full Time, Part Time, Retiree, Temporary). If left blank all employees will be considered regardless of the Status.
  • Set/ Reset - User can choose either the set or the reset option
