- Tax year drop down will default to the one set in the system parameter and if not set the first one for the current year. Sort order has been changed to descending.Introduction
The report prints out the digest consolidation report based on the criteria selected. There is an option for an export as well.
Explanation
The digest consolidation contains information such as amounts that will be billed, assessments, and exemptions on all bills for the selected tax year.
Tax Digest Consolidation Options
Report Option - How the report will be generated (print or file export)
Report Sequence - Order that the report will print
Enter tax year to report - Tax Year to print bills
Export Filename - Directory and file name of export file
District Digest Information - This contains counts, amounts, and acres that are for other bill types such as heavy equipment, timber, motor vehicle, and mobile homes per district. These amounts are used in the report because these bill types are not imported as bills. The assessor just has a sheet with this info. In the report these amounts are summed in with actual digest values to get the full taxable amount. NOTE - These values are only used if the report sequence of By District is selected
The following information is only used for the export option of the report
County Code - State assigned code that identifies the county
County Name - State specified name to use in the export to identify the county
State District Export Setup - This grid is used to set up all the districts the state expects to see in the export with the code and description the state mandates. In the grid you then tie these districts to tax levies set up in the system and also specify whether you are looking for values from incorporated, unincorporated, or all districts
