Introduction

The SmartFusion License Editor is used by support to create or edit licenses for SmartFusion. This utility saves a .lic file that is placed in the SmartFusion build folder and determines which modules/interfaces may be accessed within SmartFusion.

New License

To create a new license, enter the Company Name and Expiration Date, then select which modules and interfaces will be visible for the customer. Next, select a file path to generate the .lic file to that location and click 'Save License'

Edit Existing License

To edit an existing license, click 'File' in the menu bar, then click 'Edit Existing License'. The old license will be loaded into the License Editor with the previous values. Make any necessary changes, then specify a file path and click 'Save License'. A new .lic file should be generated at the selected file path.
