The Void Permit Payments process allows for voiding permitting payments.
Explanation
Enter the range of permit numbers and receipt dates then click Search to view eligible payments for voiding. For Advanced Permitting, rather than ranges, there will be a drop down combo box to select a list of permit numbers. Click on receipt in the grid that you would like to void, then click the OK button to process the void.
The following must be true for a payment to be eligible for voiding:
- Must be a permitting payment
- Has not been posted to ledger
- Has not been previously voided
