When the checkbox is checked it will save to the user preferences for the current user so that it will remain set until it is unchecked.

Introduction

This tab allows for changes at a specific location or view important information about a location

Explanation

Locations Tab

Only display active locations - If checked, will only display non-finalized locations, if unchecked, will display locations with all statuses
Add Location - Add a new location for customer
Delete Location - Delete highlighted Location for customer. This button is enabled only for active/pending active locations with no transactions or pending active locations with only deposit transactions.
Meter(s) - View meters for highlighted location
Fixed Services - Fixed services for highlighted location
Finalize - Finalize customer at highlighted location
Reset Finalize - Reverse a location finalized in error - Cannot reset finalize a location if there is a pending active customer with transactions
Billing Options - Billing options for highlighted location
Agreements - Payment agreements for highlighted location
Work Orders - Work orders for highlighted location

Start Date
This option allows one to set the Start Date for a Location. The rules are as follows.

  • If this customer is the only customer/location (CustomerLocation) combination ever to be associated with this location, an valid date will be accepted.
  • If this customer is not the only customer/location (CustomerLocation) that has been associated with this location one will need to enter a date that is LATER than or equal to the latest End Date associated with this location. So, if this location has had five customer/location combinations associated with it and the last End Date was 03/04/2015, then one would have to enter 03/04/2015 or later for this option to be accepted

Date Finalized - This is the date that a location is finalized
Final Bill Date _ This is the date the Customer received a Final Bill
Route\Sequence\Suffix - This is the Route Sequence and Suffix of the highlighted location
Location Entity - This option allows one to set the entity type for the location. The values are currently "Owner", "Tenant","Landlord" and "Short-term Rental".
Latitude - This is the latitude of the location for GIS mapping purposes
Tax Map Id - This is the Tax Map ID of the highlighted location
Master Code - The Master Code assigned to the location. This is used to help determine rate table selection during billing
Billing Cycle - The billing cycle is used as part of the filter criteria during the billing process
Location Status - This determines the billing status of a highlighted location
Longitude - This is the longitude of the location used for GIS mapping purposes
Units - The number of units used in billing to calculate Minimum Fees
Location Zone - Location zone is used to group locations by a specific zone. Used in many reports for selection criteria
