Introduction

The Clover Flex Terminal is an integration with CardPointe payment terminals and the Cash Collection module in SF. This feature uses API calls in the CloverFlexTerminalService.cs file to communicate with the Gateway and Terminal APIs.

This system file holds settings related to enabling the feature as well as additional features provided through the integration.

Fields

• Enable Clover Flex Terminal Payments (All fields below will be disabled if unchecked)

  • Record Convenience Fee - Determines if the convenience fee will be recorded in the SF system or not.
  • Require Signature - If enabled, payer will be required to sign their name on the terminal to complete the payment. Only available for Clover Terminals.
    • Ask Per Transaction - Only visible if "Require Signature" is enabled. If enabled, a message box will appear for each terminal transaction asking if a signature is required for this payment.
  • Print Receipt From Terminal - If enabled, a receipt will print from the terminal along with the usual SmartFusion receipt. This will only happen if the user clicks the button to print a receipt. Only available for Clover Terminals.
  • Allow Manual Payments - Allows for manual entry of credit cards. Not available for Clover Terminals
