Introduction

Use this feature to manually record accumulated depreciation. You may want to use this option to record historical depreciation information on assets prior to using the Calculate Depreciation option on the Processing menu. This option may also be used to make changes to depreciation history records.

Enter the depreciation expense account, accumulated depreciation account, the date range for the depreciation period, and the amount of depreciation. This information is reflected on the Depreciation History page in the Fixed Assets Master.

You may also delete a depreciation record from this screen if you have Administrator-level access.
