Introduction

This process allows for the user to enter a rate table and usage and it will calculate the service charge, PCA (Power cost adjustment) charge or Demand charge if any associated with the rate table.

Prorate - If checked, Number of days in cycle and days of usage will be visible

• Number of days in cycle - Number of months associated with the Billing cycle * 30

• Days of usage - For Pending Final customers the days of usage is calculated as number of days between the Previous Read date and the End location on the customer location. For Pending active customers the days of usage is calculated as number of days between the Start Date on the location and the Current reading date.

Demand reading - visible if the rate table has demand associated with it

Demand multiplier - visible if the rate table has demand associated with it

Demand usage - visible if the rate table has demand associated with it

Account number - visible if the rate table is set to Tabled demand and Method is set to 'Last number of months'

Customer Location - visible if the rate table is set to Tabled demand and Method is set to 'Last number of months'

Bill date - visible if the rate table is set to Tabled demand and Method is set to 'Last number of months'
