- Added Personnel status to the Employees tab on Position information.
- At the Position node level added a 'Put position on hold' menu item. Added 'On Hold' as an option for Position status. If a position is put on hold the color for the position changes to blue.

6.143 - Allowed the saving of a blank end date

Introduction

This option allows the user to manage positions after the tree is loaded. According to security settings, the user can set up Locations, Categories, Jobs, and Positions in the tree. Use this screen to: Edit existing positions, Copy positions, Inactivate positions, Transfer employees to other positions and Assign employees to vacant positions.

The Manage Positions screen initially comes up blank, with a search panel for you to specify the information that you want to access. Press the Load Tree button to display the information that matches your search criteria. Use the Reset button to clear the Search panel to make new selections.

Buttons on this tab are :

  • Edit - When clicked opens the Edit employee information form
  • Print - When clicked prints the Position Employee History report
  • Edit Profile - When clicked opens the Enter/Edit Employee Profiles screen. This button is visible only if 'PR fields in profiles' checkbox is checked in the User Security settings under the BP tab.
  • Edit PE - When clicked opens the 'Enter/Edit Personnel Master' screen. This button is visible only if 'Demo' checkbox is checked in the User Security settings under the PE tab.
  • Delete - When clicked deletes the selected row from the employee grid.

History Tab -

Displays a grid with the below information

  • Activity date
