Depreciation Type - The percentage set on the depreciation type determines the base depreciation amount.
Base Depreciation Amount - The percentage set on the depreciation type determines the base depreciation amount. It is a calculated field - So if the Cost of the asset was $100 and the percentage set on the depreciation type is 10% then the base depreciation Amount is calculated as 100$ - ( 100 *.10) = 90$.
