6.267 - SFFA-197-  Resolved an issue where changing an asset's depreciation account caused an existing transfer record in the Tracking History tab to be assigned an incorrect end date. This resulted in inaccurate reporting on the Depreciation Schedule Report.

Introduction

Provides more detailed information of an asset.

Explanation

This tab contains more detailed information about an asset.

New/used - Condition of the asset (New/Used) (optional).

Replacement value - The value needed to replace the asset (optional).

Insurance value - The value that would be received in an insurance claim (optional).

Warranty expires - The date at which an applicable warranty would expire (optional).

Service agreement expires - The date at which an applicable service agreement would expire.

Date checked - The last date an asset was checked in on (optional).

Condition - Condition code and description of the asset (optional).

Checked by - The last person to have checked in on the asset (optional).

Last change date - The date of the last modification to the record of the asset.

Last known holder - Last known location of the asset (optional).

Total initial cost - The initial cost of the asset.

Current year depreciation - The depreciation amount for the current year.

Current cost - The current cost of the asset.

Accumulated depreciation - The current depreciation amount.

Last depreciation date - The date at which depreciation was last calculated for the asset.

Calculate depreciation - If checked, the asset will be picked up when running the Calculate depreciation process.

Depreciation expense - The account for tracking depreciation of the asset.

Accumulated depreciation - The account for tracking the accumulated depreciation of the asset.
