- Updated the data pull to pull YTD amounts from start of fund date till current period end date for capital project funds if there is no balance forward record. If there is balance forward records it will pull from Fiscal year beginning date till current period end date.Also made the change to include balance forwards for revenue and expenditure accounts for capital projects.

- Fixed the functionality involving the "Include inactives" option. If checked, this option will now include inactive accounts in the report, if not, the report will only include active accounts.

- Changed the report to not proper case the account descriptions (proper case being "Test Desc." rather than "test DESC."). The account descriptions in the report will now be displayed as they are entered.

- Added a warning indicator if a user enters a current period end date that doesn't fall within the organization's fiscal year. The report will still run regardless of the date entered.

Introduction

The Balance reports allows users to compare assets against liabilities and equity for fund ledger accounts

Description

  • Select sequences - The report is automatically sequenced by Fund and Type (asset, liability, equity). The two combo boxes allow it to be further sequenced by two additional options. These boxes are optional.
  • Select output option - Summary or Detail
  • Enter current period end date
  • Fiscal year start date
  • Enter range of criteria to process
  • Print account number
  • Print consolidated balance sheet
  • Include inactives
  • Print accounts with a zero balance
  • New page after each fund
  • Include government-wide transactions - Only visible if "Use Gasb34" in the System Settings is checked
